I use this spice when cooking vegetarian dishes since it really makes the food come alive.

I always have a fresh jar of this on hand when i travel, as it is my favorite spice!

What you need to do

Simply mix together the ingredients in a bowl, and your turmeric butter is ready to use!

My absolute favorite way to use turmeric is in my curries. You just take out what you need and stir it into what you are cooking. 

What you are supposed to use

You can find turmeric powder, and even curry powder, but nothing compares to using turmeric in its fresh form. However, you can easily make your own paste (or powder).

Once you have the paste, store it in a clean, airtight container in a cool and dry location.

I keep mine in the refrigerator, as I find it to be very effective in cooking and maintaining freshness.
