When trying to lose weight Where do I start?
Where do I start if I want to lose weight?

"This is my first time losing weight and I'm confused where do I start? I'm 5'4 and 114lbs right now. I've always been super skinny, I'm just a little fatty on the outside. I used to eat a lot but lately I only eat 1 to 2 times a day and just don't feel like it. I do however still snack during the day. Do you do any thing like eat a couple nuts or a handful of chips (no sugar) at night and skip that from 6 to 10. Do you have any tips that you can suggest? I don't know if this is what's best for me."

You said you've always been skinny. So you don't really have a lot of weight to lose. I would say you're at a healthy weight. If you follow a health food regimen, you should lose weight on your own. That is unless you have a lot of room to lose and you have a lot of extra fat.

If you want to look healthy, you'll need to eat the right things to help you tone. If you don't want a lot of extra fat or loose inches, you don't need to eat anything. You can eat whatever you want at home, but you should know there are many people that have to lose weight very fast. If you do plan to lose weight very fast, like in a month or two, you'll need to learn to make some big changes.

Try and cut out the junk food and go with healthier choices. Make sure to drink lots of water, eat lots of green leafy veges and fruit, and watch what you are eating at the restaurants. Try something like this for breakfast:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cups of cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of strawberries

For dinner

  • 1 grilled chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of fresh corn
  • 2 stalks of celery

If you eat this, you'll lose lots of weight pretty quickly because most junk food is high in fat, sugar, and calories. When you start eating healthier, the weight will begin to come off as your body is starting to get used to the changes.

I didn't do this for a month or two. It took me only 2 months to start seeing great results. I just have to stick to it, and it works for me. Even if you don't see results as fast as I did, just keep on with it and eventually you'll start to see a difference.

There are many types of fat: subcutaneous, visceral, muscle, intramuscular, ect. And all of them store fat.

The best way to loose weight is to burn off excess calories through regular exercise. The kind of exercises that work best at burning calories and fat off is the ones that you do everyday. If you want to go to the gym, go for it. But if you are stuck at home and can't find the time, then work out at home.

Get plenty of sleep. This is another of the most basic ways to keep you from gaining weight. A lack of sleep will make you get hungry all the time. And because you're not getting enough sleep, you'll feel the want to eat at every minute.

Try to eat at a set meal time. This is one of the most basic ways to keep yourself from gaining weight and overeating. It also makes you lose weight because you are less likely to gain weight from eating more then you usually do.

Have healthy snacks available. I recommend having them available around the house so you won't be tempted to eat the junk food.

Don't drink soda or drink lots of pop, or any drink with soda as an ingredient. Soda contains phosphates, which are converted into phosphates, which form hard deposits inside the kidneys. This turns into stones and increases uric acid in your bloodstream.

Avoid a diet rich in proteins. Protein foods are high in calories. So stay away from foods rich in them.

Choose foods that are high in calcium. The most basic way to keep yourself from gaining weight is to have foods that are rich in calcium. And foods that have plenty of calcium are dairy products such as milk, yogurt, cheese, etc. And meats are also good sources of calcium.

If you don't eat grains, don't eat them in general. But don't avoid them in an attempt to loose weight. If you keep grain products in the house but don't eat them, you are making the right choice.

Drink plenty of water. One of the basic ways to keep yourself from gaining weight is to stay hydrated. You need to stay hydrated to lose weight because you don't lose water weight as fast as other types.

Take your calories gradually. Avoid being in a fast food mode where you are constantly munching on junk food.
